It's located in Lincoln Nebraska. A few of us took the guided tour through there last Friday afternoon. What an amazing collection of auto racing history. Not much truck related exhibits, but if you're a car guy it's definitely a must see.

Have any other "Bolters" been through there?

John

It was Bill "Speedy" Smith's life work putting that collection together.

They had on display a Chevy V8 from 1918. I had read about them but never had actually seen one. They also had an old Indy car that was driven by Louis Chevrolet in the famed 500.

Thanks John. I'll put that on my bucket list. I thought Chevy had the first V8 in 1917 but then, I think a lot of stuff that just taint right smile

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
