1957 5700 LCF
All original except Gear Vendors overdrive, and 327 engine. (Original high output 283 was missing when I got it.) The rollback is a 17 1/2" Chevron. The truck has less than 55,000 miles, zero rust, and drives like a dream. With the overdrive, it turns about 2750 at 60 mph.

Very nice Jerry. That's quite a load. It's nice to see that you're not afraid to put it to work. How long have you owned it, and what was it's condition when you acquired it?

This is a very nice truck. I love how the LCF had a step. My old self has a time getting into our 6400. The gear vendor sounds like a good idea. We hope to get our bed mounted this month. I really have not done any restoration on the bed yet, so we will see. I like your doors on the tool boxes.

Iām still learning and curious. If that is a ā57, why do the grill and bumper look more like ā56? Did the bigger trucks not switch until later? My ā57 3200 (currently along side yours in this photo forum) has the big mouth grill.

The grilles on '57 big trucks were the same as '56's. They changed in '58 when the dual headlights came out.
