1949 GMC 150
This is my 1949 GMC 150 truck that I bought from a old friend that had it stored up in a 2nd story of a barn/garage for about 20yrs and before that was said to be stored in the original owners barn when the kids inherited it. If anyone followed my build thread you know the story and my plans with the truck but basically it was built to look 100% stock but it has a 2001 fuel injected 5.3 from a silverado and mated to a 319 borg warner OD trans with 4.10’s in the rear. Also has AC and a radio! I put A LOT of miles on this truck and its my favorite build to date.

Nice. I followed your build. Same on the business end as mine.

Are your wheels 15" or 16"? How wide?
What size are the tires?

225/75/16’s. Not exactly sure on rim width. They are off of a ford pickup or van from most likley late 80’s - early 90’s.

Nice truck Barnfind. I appreciate all your choices. I'm working on a barn find myself. So far, sticking with the 235, but certainly envious of your 5.3 (like in my 2000 Sierra).
