Bret Zieman's 1965 GMC 3/4-Ton Fleetside

        I bought this 1965 GMC 3/4-ton, longbed fleetside in December for $350 from a guy who had it sitting out in back of his house. It was complete except for an engine.

        We started this project on 14 December and she has been on the road since the first of February. We took her down to the frame, sandblasted to remove any bondo and see what we really had to work with.

        She is now outfitted with a 350 4-bolt main, 350 turbo tranny, '73 Monte Carlo Steering column, 1972 Chevy power steering unit, new tires and some fresh primer grey paint. The body work will hopefully be done by Christmas and I am planning to paint right after the new year.
