1955 Second Series Chevy 3200

From Joe :

This is my 1955 Second Series Chevy 3200. I have found the 3200 to be rather rare. Most people never heard of it. It's the first one I have seen.

This truck sat just two blocks away from where we live and was not for sale for about 10 years. Finally when it went up for sale, the owner wanted $1500. The wife said "NO not a penny over $500."

Two more years, a $500 sign appears in the window! I had it in our driveway before the wife got home.

The wood is all original and in very good condition. So is the body except for minor rust holes. I have seen worst when I was in school (nearly 40 years ago). The engine is a 235 with 4 speed with granny low. [ pix ]

This year it's getting a new fuel tank and fuel lines and interior paint.
