Hello! Nice website! Here are some pictures of my 1936 Chevy Pickup from Sweden. Model: 1936 Chevrolet FB "High roof cab"

Story of the Chevy: I bought it back in 1978. It was in a terrible shape, as you can see in the bottom right picture.

I started rebuilding it as a hotrod and spent about 2000 hours of work before it was ready to ride in 1980. All work, like welding, painting, interior, engine rebuild and so on is done by the owner to keep the costs down. The body is now all steel instead of the original wood roof and back.

I've been driving the pickup almost every summer since then, for about 25 years now, and its a very reliable old machine.

In 1988 I shipped the pickup over the Atlantic sea to USA and drove it to the Street Rod Nats. The wooden coffin in the back is made so two people can sleep there. It's nice when going to rod meetings.

Some tech specs: Cab is chopped 3 inches, boxed frame, 10-bolt Chevy Nova rear end, Opel Commodore Independent front suspension with disc brakes, SAAB rack and pinion. Power steering, power brakes, double circuit brakes. Cadillac tilt and telescope steering column. Engine is Chevy 350, TH400 and an added GMC 6-71 Blower with dual Carter carburetors. It runs pretty good!
