From: Doug:

I bought this truck locally from a guy who had it sitting in a patch of weeds for the past 10-l5 years. The engine was froze up and had to be replaced. I towed it for the 25 mile journey home.

I spent four years restoring it. I did a "cab off frame restoration." It has a new reproduction grille, new wiring, all new glass and runs perfect now. I have driven it quite a bit, including our local 4th of July parade last year.

When our garage door is up, people stop by to get a closer look at it. One of the most unique things about this truck is the original hoist that still works!

Note: The Smiths recently sold this truck to a local seed dealer to use in parades.
