restoring an old truckFrom Scott :

This is a "beginning" shot of my 1934 Chevy 1.5-ton truck. I found this truck on a vacant farmstead in Northwest North Dakota. After about a half dozen phone calls and a little luck, I tracked down the rightful owner and got the truck for a nice price.

Since this truck is the short wheel base model, we are thinking about a mild hot rod with a nice oak flatbed, complete with beer keg gas tank, monster rear tire / wheel combo and some skinnies up front on wire wheels.

The steel is real good. The grille is arrow straight. I even got the original headlights from the guy, with no bullet holes!! The key was still in the ignition -- just needs to get going now!!!

This is the second truck of Scott's collection. The first is a 1946 Chevy, another old farm truck. ~~ Editor
