My Dad bought this truck in 1978 and it served us well on the farm for many years. When I needed a vehicle to drive to school 300 miles away, Dad was kind enough to let me leave with the GMC. Every year since I have done a little more work and get lots of smiles and waves when I drive it today. It was a no-frills work truck with the options being a gauge package, towing package, heavy duty leaf springs and black trim option. I have added carpeting, middle seat belt and radio.
It is fun to drive and all these years later my kids love riding in it.
