Andrew Scheirer's 1964 Chevy Stepside

          I’m 19 and have been involved in cars since I was 15. I have owned close to 20 cars already as buying and selling is a hobby of mine. My main focus was a 400hp 1980 Malibu with a 355/350 and a 12 bolt rear. That was until I spotted this truck in a back alley close to where I live.

          It’s a 1964 Chevrolet with a GMC front clip and tailgate. It is a shorted step side that is in very good shape. The man I bought it off owned it for six months. He lowered it (the incorrect way, heated them up) and painted it quickly. The paint is not perfect but that’s the least of my worries.

          It has coil spring rear so I know it’s a Chevy, and the inline-6 with the 4 spd runs excellent!

          I plan on hot rodding this truck, putting the engine in my Malibu into the truck and put power steering and power disc brakes in the front. First goal is to restore the interior to show quality hot rod, gauges, billet, and custom seat upholstery. Eventually I'll put 20s on it but that’s the last touch. So far I am really in love with my truck and plan to do a lot. I will send update pictures along the way.
