1963 1/2-ton

Hi Folks. Sometime back I spotted an offer posted of a "free truck" in the Stovebolt lounge. I made a few e-mails and with the help of your Stovebolt staffer "Boyoconnor," my son Matt is the proud owner of a 1963 1/2-ton long bed.

The family that gave her up just wanted her to have a good home and for her to stay close to stock. It has a 230 6cyl and 4 speed. Old Red, as the family now refers to her had a few problems as expected.

My son has a basket case 65 1/2-ton that so far has supplied all the necessary parts.

I'll forward more pictures as the clean-up progresses. The picture I'm submitting is a "First Look" as we pulled up to Reds old home. Thanks to the friendly Stovebolt staff that helped make this happen!
