From Tom :

In 2002, I bought this 1946 GMC 1/2-ton short bed. It has a missing hand brake lever, but the rest of the gear below the floor appeared to be all there (cables, pulley, rod coming forward to tranny). I purchased a used lever and mounted it on the tranny with two bolts. I was a bit clueless as to what linkage was necessary to complete the connection. Couldn't find any drawings in any manuals or anything at the time. But I did get some help in the forums.

Hope I look this good when I turn 60 !!!
