More truck pictures of my old truck

From Ben :

My family and I live in SC and have been into old cars / trucks for 30+ years. This is my 1970 Chevy C-10 that I've had for almost 10 years. It was given to me by the original owner who was my neighbor.

The old truck is a 250 with a 3-speed on the column. No PS, no PB, radio delete and a leaf spring rear suspension. I'm not sure why anyone would order the leaf springs or how unusual that is, maybe someone can fill me in.

I love this truck but haven't been able to work seriously on restoring it yet. It is my goal to fix it up before the old guy that gave it to me passes away. I want him to get to see it. He was nearly old enough to be my Grandfather, but he also was one of the best friends I've ever had. I moved away about five years ago and miss the old guy.

This classic truck runs and drives great, but I'm in the process of replacing the brake lines (they were rusted out) so that I can get some brakes.

The truck only has 72k miles on it. I plan to drive it some looking just like it does (it will be my backup everyday ride behind my '86 GMC). I do have some 6 lug Wheel Vintiques Rally's for it so that I can have a better tire selection. I plan to run them with no center caps or trim rings (at least for now), as I'm on a low budget.
