From Mike:

Here is a picture of my '47 (early) 1.5- ton Chevy that I bought off eBay a couple of years ago. It is all original and nothing was ever done to it. It was covered with a thick coat of oily dirt and thus well preserved.

After changing the plugs, wires, points, cleaning out the gas tank, rebuilding the carb, etc., it starts and runs good. I got seven new tires from Nebraska Tire and found an old timer to change them. It now awaits paint, wiring and a bunch of other stuff.

I plan to use the truck for my contracting biz and around the farm.

Thanks,

Mike Potts
