From Ken:

Hi! I am a member of the NAPCO owners group, which is an offshoot of The Stovebolt Page. Was browsing around your today -- looks pretty good!!

This Stovebolt is a stock 4-wheel drive, although the lightweight 1/2-ton running gear has been replaced with 1972 3/4-ton running gear.

It has a Detroit Locker (No-Spin) in the rear, and Dana 44 in front. Chevy 427 engine, SM465 trans married to a NP205 transfer. It has all three seats, recovered in gray tweed. There is a 6,000 pound winch mounted in front.

This is my daily driver. I also have a restored '58 Chevy NAPCO 4x4 1/2-ton panel truck and am in process of a frame off resto on a '58 Chevy shortbed NAPCO 4x4 1/2-ton. I do not have any pictures of either, but will send some when I get some.

Thanks, and keep up the good work!

Ken Noll

     Ken also has a 1960 GMC 3/4-Ton 4 x 4 and a 1964 GMC Suburban 4 x 4 in the Gallery ~~ Editor
