           Here a shot of my 1948 Chevy truck. This picture was taken at the Morris Hunnert Car Pileup last October (2006). I just bought it here in Illinois in September.

           The truck has a Nova stub with 350/350, disc and drum brakes, power steering, new rear fenders, bed sides and running boards. It also has recessed gauges and heat / air controls from a Chevette. It is rumored to be an older custom from years back. Not sure though.

           I purchased a 1951 for parts. It would have been better to buy them new, or used separately.

           I am driving the 1948 this summer like it is. I love the old "barn fresh" look. I am building up my stash so I can have it done by next year. In the mean time, I will enjoy it and work the bugs out this year.
