From Stuart:

Here are a few pictures of my 1951 pickup.  A friend of mine, who did the upholstery, named the truck "Big Black" and that's what it has been called ever since.

It was powered by a turbocharged 350 Chevy with a 350 TH transmission, '76 Nova rear end, power steering and power front disc brakes. I built it over the period of about  seven years, doing all the work myself, including the bodywork and paint job.

I sold the truck in 1986 through a hot rod dealer and was told it was purchased by a man from Alaska. It was a very fast truck, fun to drive, and got plenty of attention wherever it  went.
