From Darlene:

Hi. I'm new to the classic vehicle world but have fallen in love with them, especially trucks and suburbans. I have just purchased this 1961 Chevy Apache 10 long bed stepside 4wd.

I'm having a tough time finding others with one - several have short beds. I'm wondering if there weren't many manufactured? How would I find out this information?

Here are some pics of the truck. It's beautiful. We need to do some little things to it. But essentially most everything is original and we want to keep it that way. The bumper seems to be quite different - don't think it's original - even tho we were told it was.

It came from Nebraska - one owner, 53,000 miles!

Thanks for your help. I love this site. Will send more info as it get it!
