AD Chevy Trucks

Chevy trucks

Over 6,000 pictures
Brad Allen has an awesome collection of Chevrolet factory pictures that he has set up from film strips.

This one is on AD Chevy trucks (1947-1955).

Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment for you.

"LURCH"

Read more about Lurch. He's got so much happening, he's got TWO sagas!

2007 Memoirs -- Lurch gives us his run down (oh, should I use those words??) on all his doings for the past year. Such fun he has! Great pictures and great story telling.

You can't keep a good truck down -- Or on a trailer, either! Lurch gives a lesson in grace, humility, trailering basics and the foibles of man.

From Dean :

Here is the most recent picture I have of Lurch.

The guy sitting next to me is George Childs. He originally sold Lurch's chassis and engine to me.

He has a few old Chevys, including a 1925 Chevy truck named "Leaping Lena" that his Grandfather bought new.

10 June 2002 Update

1927 Chevy 1-ton Cattle TruckHi,

I thought it was time for an update from Lurch. He's found a few friends that he 'tours' with.

Here's a picture that was taken last weekend at a show called Friendship Day. It's a 'bring-whatever-you've-got-and-let's-enjoy-each-other's-toys' kind of show.

Lots of fun!

Cheers,
Dean

Dean's got a 1958 Chevy 1/2-ton Panel truck he uses to tow his trailer, which carries junk (er, parts and projects) home and also takes Lurch to shows. ~~ Editor

From Dean: 1927 Chevy 1-ton Cattle Truck

I'd like to replace the current picture of Lurch, my 1927 Chevy Cattle truck. The pic you have is old and isn't quite accurate anymore. (Lurch doesn't have the Austin America seats anymore). Here is a more recent picture taken at the ATHS (American Truck Historical Society) Kirkland Truck show last year.

This is a GREAT show, if you ever get a chance to be in Northern California the last weekend in April.

Thanks!
