1954 1.5-Ton Chevy COE"Nadine"
From Si Nadine is doing fine. She has spent the cold winter in her own barn. She'll go on a few truck tours this spring. She has a newly refinished, correct year flatbed body ready to be installed this spring. I have been busy finishing my 64 foot by 28 foot truck shed that had four 12 foot tall garage doors! When I first came to the site in March 2004, I sent in this photo for the Gallery. My partner Dawne and I live in Vermont near Woodstock. Besides old iron and trucks, we love horses (Arabians for her; Drafts for him). We raise English Bulldogs and old labs. For the last 12 years we have operated the Hartland Antiques Center, a 30-dealer, antiques and collectibles retail business on US Rroute 4. I also am restoring an 18' diameter circa 1912 FITZ iron Mill water wheel that I hope to have installed in my new, old truck workshop and workshop mill this summer. Always lots of old tractors, old cars and neat old stuff around all the time! Stop by when you're driving up to the "Green Mountain" State! Thanks, Si
Still not big enough to fit all the babies!
Si has quite a collection. "Nadine" is a 1954 1.5-Ton Chevy COE. He has a 1950 Chevrolet National Ambulance; a 1941 GMC COE Military Van; and a 1947 Chevrolet 1-Ton Panel . Si had a 1926 Chevrolet Open Express that he sold in 2006 to Mr. Elden Blasco and it headed to San Juan Capistrano, California.
