From Mike:

Here are some pictures of my 1965 C-10 Shortbed Stepside that is my everyday driver.

I bought the truck in 2002 as a basic 6-cylinder, 3-speed low-buck truck without any options. Today, it has an '86 305 bored .030 over engine turning a stock rear with 3.08 gears through a turbo 350 trans. The Flowmaster exhaust gives just the right sound.

I have also converted to power steering and soon plan to update to power disc brakes as well. The seat is covered in leather and the paint (done by the previous owner) is still looking good after six years.

The bed wood is made from treated lumber for practicality since this is a working truck.

I have put over 13,000 mile on the truck and it is rock solid dependable. I get offers to buy it all the time.

I also own a 1948 Chevy 3100 Deluxe cab that is reserved for pleasure and shows.
