"Jahspeed"

     This is my '61 Apache C-10 Fleetside, "Jahspeed." Its got a 283 w/ Powerglide tranny, everything is original.

     I bought it recently for a few hundred bucks. I am the third owner and it had 118,500 miles on it when I bought it. The gentleman I bought it from had been out of the country for a few years and it hadn't been run since then.

    When I went and looked at it I asked him if I could try to start it, he said good luck. It needed a battery so I borrowed some tools and took the battery out of my '95 Chrysler and put it in the truck. A little gas in the carb and it started right up. Went back the next day with a new battery and picked up my car (cause I left with the truck).

     I've been driving it ever since without doing anything more, although I will someday.
