NEWS FLASH


      We entered the truck in a car show May 24th. Guess what? We one First place in the "Special Interest" category! It is not finished yet but getting better.

      Congratulations, guys from all your fellow Stovebolters! What a great help you've been in getting this old truck going again!

      1938 Chevrolet Fire Engine

      300 g.p.m. W.S. Darley pump

      Second oldest one, (oldest working) (neighboring city has 1937) 216 cubic inch engine.   Repainted in 1994 Original firefighting equipment on board.


      Originally purchased by National Biscuit Company (Nabisco) in Marseilles, IL. Will get more details later.
