From Bill:

I was looking for a mid '50’s Cessna 170B when a friend said I would have to get an old truck to go along with the old airplane. I still haven’t found the right airplane but this old truck found me and followed me home. That’s what I told the wife anyway.

It is a 1950 and has a 235 in it but other than that (and an alternator), it appears (to an airplane nut at least) to be very close to original.

It runs fine and I drive it regularly as long as it isn’t raining. The vacuum windshield wipers leave a lot to be desired. I just got the truck in early October and other than putting gas and oil in it I haven’t worked on it at all -- yet!

It came from Colorado and has no rust on it at all. So this winter, I am going to remove the body and clean everything up and restore it before life in southeast Georgia takes a toll.

Just for the info, the airplanes are a 1940 Piper J3 Cub with an 85 HP Continental on it and the one in back is 1943 Piper Clipper with a 115 HP Lycoming on it.
