From Kevin :

Hi all. This is my “new to me” 1962 Canadian GMC pickup truck. I picked this truck up locally here in Kamloops B.C. from a friend who couldn’t pay his rent. [ Interior ]

I don’t know a lot about the truck yet. I'm doing research to find out more. It’s kind of cool that it is the same year as the Lincoln Continental that I am rebuilding. Check it out on cardomain.com -- username hermanangus.

The truck is a long way from stock with a 375 hp 350 cu motor on the ground waiting to be put in. I also have a a turbo 350 tranny that I am taking out of my ’66 Pontiac Parisienne (which originally came from an ’86 Camaro).

The truck has a later model tailgate, a late model tilt column, ps, pb, front discs, stock dash except for the gaping hole where the stereo was. It has some really ugly power buckets in a lovely autumn gold velour or something.

I hope to get the truck up and running in the next few months but need to track down the GMC lettering for the front grille. I will probably keep the Chevy chrome on the B post. Then I have to decide what to do with the bed. [ Side view ]

Wish me luck and check my projects out at the cardomaine site.
