From Javier

Hi there!

I am a fan of this gallery of GM classic trucks and for The Stovebolt Page for five years now. I am attaching a picture of my GMC flat bed '56 dual wheels. I got it in pretty much good condition from a farmer in Durango, Mexico a year ago. It was parked in a yard for the last 15 years, but practically original.

I had it painted, electrical circuits, water pump, dash gauges repaired and replaced its flat bed with a pickup long bed '60 box. My wife and I enjoy all the challenges we had to get it the shape it is now. I use it as my every day car.

We have two other projects (GMC '59 and Chevrolet '52) that we will share with you soon.

Regards,
Javier Gonzalez
