From Steve :

Well, I found another old truck. I sold my 1957 Chevy, Albert. I was ambushed with a hand full of cash.

This time, I have a 1965 C-10 Short Wheel Base big window custom. It is lowered three inches in front and four inches in the rear. I have a new 350 tpi, 700r4, Rock Valley stainless fuel tank, front suspension, power steering, classic gauges and more to install come spring. All I need now is time to put it together. With five kids, I'm time poor.

This truck is rock solid and will make a great cruiser. I will run cab for now and set tpi aside till later. Here is a pretty good shot of the bed,

I found out when you bring a new project home, a bench seat is comfortable for a day or two. I am working on locating a posi for the rear and a new gear set.

I ordered EZ Wire harness and stainless brake lines. I will wait on the Shriners' swap meet in April to locate what I need. After that, I will install new ring and pinion, and posi unit. I also have drop spindles with power disc on front. I printed out what I want to do and in what order. This does not always work. I try to do this to keep on track. Any info on the work or best products, please contact me.

You can see my helper here. Time spent with my kids working on a project is the best part of it.

Keep on truckin,

Steve Felten
