Don Fahrenkrog's 1939 Chevrolet 3/4-Ton Pickup

         Here is a photo of my 1939 3/4-ton on its maiden voyage. (Note one gallon gas can setting on cowl!)

         This was apparently an old ranch truck from the north east part of New Mexico. The original owner seems to have kept it on the road with liberal applications of his bubblegum stick welder. It came complete with a 1951 New Mexico truck license plate which was wired on with bailing twine on to the tail gate and an almost complete cow skeleton in the cab where the seat should have been.

         Amazing what we spend our time and money on.
