From Jerry :

Here is a pic of my 1952 3100 Chevy pickup. The restoration took approximately three years to accomplish with the help of many talented friends. One of the major hurdles included a tree out in the yard that would no longer produce the greenbacks to finance the restoration.

This classic old truck is originally from Nebraska and had been driven hard and put away wet for a number of years. It found its way to Michigan and I purchased it on my wife's birthday. So, needless to say, I spent most of the evening in the garage. BAD MOVE ! (So, don’t do this.)

Other hurdles were not technically major since I worked with a group of true gear head buddies that would make McGiver on the old TV series look like a cub scout!

Anyway, the truck was painted a non-factory two tone combination of Maroon and Crème Dupont Acrylic Enamel. That is the same color combination and paint codes used on Indian Motorcycles.

Take Care and keep up the good work!!!!!
