From Debbie Jo :

We bought this from a friend of ours. He found it on a load to be taken to the crusher. He knew I always wanted a '55 but figured it was close enough.

This truck has a 4 speed where the motor should be and that is about it. It is just a shell so we have our work cut out for us.

Someone tried to cover up the windows to make a panel truck out of it but we still have the pieces to replace the windows. I plan on painting it coral with a white top. I call it "Daisy."

We will put a small block 400 in it and probably a standard so we can use it to haul the '70 to the track. I am really looking forward to making this the grocery-getter but I will be sad though when I have to park the '80 Suburban so I can make this my daily driver. I guess the girls can have the '80!!

Thanks and have a great day!!

The Dobson's have a nice line up of trucks: 1970 Chevy C-10 Longbed ; a 1959 Chevy Suburban; a 1957 GMC Pickup truck. A good variety of projects!   ~~ Editor
