My '37 is now complete. I finished it in September 1998 and then drove it after being licensed only one week half-way across Australia and back again.

Thanx to Jim Carters, Filling Station for parts supplied!

I'm in Australia and as you can see from the photo, this is what it looked like when I bought it for $1,500. It is slowly coming together and all the running gear is done and now it is basically the body to do. Will send you an update on completion. I have been working on it for 18 months and find some of the parts hard to get as Ausralian models have some slight different body mods to its American brother.
Anyone who owns a 37 GC 1/2 or 3/4 ton please email me. Seeking info.

As you can see there is progress in the stable. I have decided to not have the traditional black chassis but spruce it up a bit with color. Note the chrome diff cover. It won't be a hot rod -- just dressed up a little. The engine and transmission have already been fitted. I will update when the pic is available.

Anybody out there who owns one of these beautiful, hard-to-get pickups, would you like to contact me?

         As promised, here's the engine.
