           I have a 1969 Chevy 1/2-ton cst camper special with factory 396 and 3 speed, power steering, power brakes and a/c. It is a gold and white.

           I found the beast 17 years ago in Pico Riviera, California . I was in the U.S. Marine Corps back then. In 1995 it was sold to another friend of mine from down home and it was moved back to Missouri and it sat until 2005. It was then sold once more to my best friend. Both of these friends drive tractor trailers -- that's how it was moved1500 miles back here to Missouri.

           Well, I got the '69 four months ago finally -- 17 years later ! But it was worth waiting for. It is all still intact. I put in a new bed and a few other things since I got it. But in a few more years and with a hole lot more money, it will be as good as new!
