Here is a picture of my 1934 DB Series 1/2-ton Chevy truck. It is original. It has the 206.8 engine (60 hp), wooden interior cab, and 3-speed transmission. I drive the '34 two or three times a week when the temperatures are below 105 here in Tucson! It runs great and gets over 14 mpg with a maximum (comfortable) speed of about 50 mph. If I had one more gear, maybe enough air would flow through the front window to make 105 degrees bearable.

The majority of the restoration was completed about 10 years ago by the guy I bought it from. His family had it since 1966. It needs another paint job, the bed wood replaced, headliner installed and a few other minor tweaks. Perhaps you can find room for it in your Gallery as I did not see a 1/2-ton model from 1934.

I am also working on a 1951 3-window 3100. It will be close to original with a rebuilt 235 being the only major deviation. Should be finished soon.....

Thanks!
