From Jon:

Hi. Here are pics of my 1965 GMC 1/2-ton factory 4x4 taken shortly after I purchased it last June from a friend of my brother-in-law. I has a 400 small block Chevy in it and it was used for the mud drags. I have spent a lot of time getting the all the mud cleaned out from the underneath the truck!!

Since last June I have been acquiring the parts to get her back on the road, including a step-side bed to replace the custom "rock quarry stone sifting screen" bed floor!

I really enjoy the stovebolt site, especially the Gallery and Swap Meet areas! I also have a '40 Chevy 3/4-ton project and a '61 Chevy 4 x 4 long wheelbase chassis that will get a body someday! More photos in my Yahoo photo album.

      Thanks for a great website!

Jon's first truck in the Gallery was a 1965 GMC 1/2-Ton 4 x 4. In April 2006, Jon added a 1966 Chevy C-20 ("Ol Green"). Then, in October 2006, he added a 1956 Chevy 3/4-ton Flatbed to the Gallery. So no one thinks he's not busy, in October 2010, he added a 1966 Chevy K20 3/4-ton 4wd Stepside.
