Dear Stovebolt,

Here are some photos of my 1966 Chevy "Apache" step van. I found this thing for sale on the side of the road, and bought it on the spot! I Have been trying to find any information about this van, but can't find anything. It appears to be a one of a kind?

The chassis is a P30 chassis with a 292 inline six, with a 4 speed manual trans. The body is all fiberglass on metal ribs, with a wood floor in back, and a diamond plate fiberglass (!) floor up front. It is propane powered (probably added later on). The only markings are the words "APACHE" on the lower rear quarter panels. Anyway, I thought the folks out there might like to see this possible one of a kind, and maybe could help shed some light on it's history.
