From Paul:

Hello Stovebolt! I was looking through the Galleries and decided to submit my truck.

I call it a '49, but it has parts from '47 to '53. I built it from the ground up using everybody's spare parts. All I had at first was a frame that we put a Mustang II IFS in. About that time, my previous '49 caught fire and burned to the ground. When everybody heard about it, I started getting calls like "I've got a fender" or "I've got a door". I finally got enough parts to put it all together.

It took from January 1997 to April 1998 to get it on the road. It's still not finished, but I'm chipping away at it.

The a picture is from last July at the Good Guys Heartland Nationals in Des Moines, Iowa.
