First off, late me say how much I like your site. I like it A LOT. I'd rate it as one of the best Classic Chevy Truck sites on the net! The Bulletin Board is a great place to get questions answered. The photo gallery is also great. I even look forward each month to the "Two Guys in Search of a Truck" series.

I have been meaning to send you photo's of my truck for a few months now and I have finally gotten around to it. I purchased this 3/4 ton in July of 1999. The wrecker gear was in it when I bought it and appears to be a "home made" job from parts from different wrecker equipment from the early to mid 50's. The PTO is not there so I'm looking for a good deal on one.

Under the hood is a GMC 270 ci engine from the late 50's. It runs and drives fine now, but needs some TLC. I'm hoping to rebuild the engine and front end (suspension and steering) this Fall / Winter and give her a new coat of paint next spring. Check out and follow my progress at my web site.
