From Andrew:

Well this 1/2-ton 1961 Chevy Apache 10 has a lot of history about her. I inherited it from my Great Grandpa in 1995. He bought it brand new off the showroom floor in 1961. My Dad drove it for years because I was only 8 at the time. He painted it plum crazy purple and my Grandpa put a new 6 cylinder engine in her. It was stolen once and thankfully recovered.

The original color off the showroom floor at Appleway Chevrolet when my Great Grandpa bought it brand new was hot pink. Then he used it for a business truck for a few years and painted it brown. He passed / handed the truck down to me for motivation to keep my nose clean and get good grades in school. And it has worked.

Now that I am 16, I have saved enough to buy a Chevy 350 V-8 and start restoring her because she deserves it.

So enjoy the pictures and give me any suggestions. This is all the info there is to tell for right now. I hope to get it on this site and then when progress comes along, I can post the new info about the bodywork, engine, etc.

Also I would like to post one more picture of me and my brother next to our trucks. Jacob is 9 and owns a 1966 Chevy C-10. But I think it would be neat to have a picture of two young brothers. Looking forward to having our trucks on stovebolt.com!

Thank you. I am very exited to get my truck on the website. I appreaciate all your time and your effort doing this for people and not charging to post. I think it's awesome what you are doing and I hope stovebolt.com never dies.

Thanks again!!
