Dear Editor
This is my 1954 COE Chevrolet 5107. I found it pretty much as it sits. We put a 8-volt battery in it and drove it home. After a tune-up, the original 63K motor purs.
I have begun to redo the interior but it is in darn good shape as it was. Pressure-treated wood on the bed was installed and really looks good.
This original New Mexico truck sure has stood up to time. Hard to believe when I drive down the road that it is 50 years old. My 5-month old son will love climbing up into it someday.
