I really enjoy your page and I thought that I would send a picture of my Chevy. This my first venture into Chevys, but I have built several Fords, so any info would be appreciated. I bought this truck about a month ago from a small dealership here in Granbury. It is a 1950 2 ton with a 235, four speed transmission, PTO winch and a two speed rear end. They had been using it as a crane to build their dealership, and had slowly started restoring it.
When I got it it was just as you see in the pictures. The only thing that I am going to have to do is rebuild the 235 in the near future, it is really starting to smoke. But besides that it is a great truck. It has six new 20X9 tires, new paint and they even switched it over to 12 volts with an alternator and dual batteries. I really love the PTO winch with the boom, it comes in really handy moving big stuff around.
