From Jay :

These are pics of my 1962 Chevy C10 long bed. [ This picture is a front-on shot, along "tractor row" ] I bought her a little over six months ago when I found it on eBay. When I saw it, it had a 235 ci Inline 6 with the twin carburetors and split manifold. I knew I had to have it!

I've always been a fan of Inline engines, especially the 235-261 family. The truck is a 235 ci / 3 on the tree combo [ engine pix ] , and apparently someone installed a later model 12-bolt rear end in it. It has some rust problems in the bottom of the fenders, and a few dents. But all in all, it's a very solid truck. [ interior pix ]

These are pics from when I first bought it, and a lot has improved since. I've painted the engine, added chrome air cleaners, chrome valve covers, installed a CD player and 6 x 9 speakers under the seat. I also had dual 2 1/4 pipes and glasspacks installed.

My plans are to lower it 4 inches, paint it semi gloss black, add red painted steel wheels and whitewalls, and completely detail the old 235.  I also want to add a Clifford cam and a T-5 transmission.

Thanks for looking!

Jay Bernard
