From Jason:

Hi there. My name is Jason Baker (aka Kiwidude). I bought a 1950 Chevrolet 3100 a few months ago now from a guy in Texas. I shipped it all the way to my home in Christchurch, New Zealand. We are right hand drive here but that's boring -- so that's the main reason.

She is in very good condition - all original, apart from a 216 engine on 12-volts and some fancy wheels and a CD player. All I've done is "hidden stuff" ... kingpins, starter, brakes.

She drives great (don't need to do more than 55 mph anyhows). She would be one of the only left-hand drive ones in NZ, I would say.

I haven't gotten it all legal-like here yet but the fuzz dont seem to mind! I have gotten a personalised plate "FIDDY" to stick on as soon as it's legal.

Seeing as I just registered with The Stovebolt Page, I thought I'd better send in some pictures. Man there's some cool stuff on this site! I'm sure I will have tons of questions for the guys out there.

I look foward to any day I can just cruise around with my lovely wife Rebecca and our crazy cocker spaniel Franklin.

Cheers,
Jason
