          My name is Dennis McCarty. I am a member of the Kansas City Shriner's Drum & Bugle Corps.

         Two years ago we were given a 1948 Chevy Fire Truck. It had sat in a field many years. There was only 3400 miles on it.

         We put seats in back and everything needed to make it roadworthy.

         Since some of our parades are away from home, I would like to put a higher geared rear end in it. I read the article on rear ends for medium trucks. This one has 4000 miles on it. What later model will fit it?

         I also have a 1954 Chevy Hardtop -- is there a web site like yours for cars?
