David Ader's 1952 Chevy 3100

           I just bought this truck for $350. My best friend's neighbor had this truck. It has been sitting in a field up in the woods where nobody could see it. My friend was going to buy it -- but being the friend that he is, and knowing I was looking for a old truck, he decided to let me know about it.

           The following week, I was hauling it home. It needs lots of work. It has been updated to a 235 engine and 12-volt system. The guy told me it still ran when he parked it. He just needed a more reliable vehicle for the miles he drove.

           Wish me luck -- I'll need it.
