      Boy, it's been a big year of gallery submissions and one thing we've seen over and over. Some of those gallery SUBMISSIONS ought to be submissions for this photo contest. Oh, not that those old Bolt looks bad (ah-hem) -- ah, but because they could have won a nifty prize. And then, if we ever had a before and after contest, they'd win something there, too! No ... we are not doing any before and after contest.

      Yup, it's great to look back at these old piles of iron and see (squint hard now) a future for them. A great and glorious future for some. A fun-filled future for some. A future still full of weeds, mice and bees for others (but still a contest-winner perhaps!)  There is always hope! Someone might have a vision. A dream.  Or just working on their CI and general Bolt collection.  Anyway ...
      The Six Annual "It Ran When I parked It" photo contest is on!!! For you newcomers, this is the annual search for the ultimate photographic expression of the Big Lie we've all heard when calling on a truck for sale ad -- "It Ran When I Parked It." We all know that IRWIPI is just a euphemism for "There's more chance of me going back in time than being able to get it started, even MOVED, let alone restore it."

      After all these years, the rules are pretty much the same (except last year and we don't want to go back there). And I want to thank Houston54 for throwing in his two cents and helping with the theme for this year's contest. Well, actually it turned out to be about a dime's worth, so we'll send you your change ;-)

1. Include your name, address, phone number and Stovebolt log-in name (optional)
2. Give your picture a caption (limit 15 words) ... or we will!
3. Send your submission (along with info from #1 and #2) in jpg format to us. Or snail mail it to: The Stovebolt Page, 41370 Friendship Court, Mechanicsville, MD 20659-3853
