hello all,im new to the forums,my dad and i just got a 1954 chevy pickup with a 235 engine the oil pan is shot, completly rotted due to a huge mouse nest found inside, the preveous owner only had it held on with 2 screws thats how they got in there, can anyone tell me where i might be able to buy one?i went to look at a 62 oil pan but it was not as deep as the one i have ,about 1 inch difference on the deep end,is there any other applications that will work without changing the oil pickup? thank you for any help

The only pan that is a direct fit is 1953 Power Glide engine, any 1954, or the 1955 first series truck.
An alternative is to use a 216 pan. You will need to cut the dipper troughs out first but then it will fit fine.
