Hello fellas I tought I would stop by and see if I could help anyone out. I started working in Chev dealerships in 1954. Did that till I bought my own shop in 1962.Finally burned out in the 80s,but I still enjoy batting the breeze about the old ones. I dont google things I figure anyone can do that, my answers will be from actual expierence. Thanks for listening. Tom

Hey Tom, sounds like you started wrenching the year I was born. Experience is the best teacher, glad to have you join us. Welcome! So what do you call an old truck? Pre-WWII?

Thanks for the welcome fellas. As to what I call a prewar truck that would probably be "rusty" I dont try to keep up with the OBD stuff. If its a 46 i/2 ton every one understands that.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Hey Tom,

I'm just curious, do you have any old trucks in your driveway?
