Howdy folks,

Goin' to the junk yard tomorrow yahoo There are a several 60's parts buses there. Any hang ups on these fenders or grills fitting on a 64 2 ton dump. Thanks for any info. You guys in the north and east stay warm this weekend.

thanks joek3167. I guess no one has done this before. did a little measuring and they should mount up OK. Found a '65 bus with perfect fenders and grill and the core support which I really needed.

Years ago lots of school buses wound up in salvage yards. In no time everything from the firewall was gone and they kept the rest for a storage shed. They had to be selling the front sheet metal to guys with 2 ton trucks because I doubt that school districts shopped salvage yards.

I'm going to pick up the front clip on Saturday. He has at least 20 different busses of various years and makes. Type in johns salvage company seguin texas on google. I'll look for ya' just the same. pretty good shape 56 or 57 2 ton grain truck in there too... my wife already said no though.

bus fender is same as 2 ton brother owns 3 ton and i have 5 ton bus,front clip is the same! i even have found fiberglass replacements out there.Sounds like a real cool wrecker,wish i could go there

not sure who makes them but i found a set on a old 65 bus nearby.very light,has the lip around the wheel opening,1 piece cove on the front.NO RUST,haha
