Big Bolters

I need your good hi-rez images! Have a nice shot of your big bolt? Send it in! At a minimum, I need 9 inches by 12 inches at 200 pixels/inch.

I particularly need COE's, fire trucks, pre-War trucks ... And body styles other than flatbeds or road tractors (i.e., tow trucks, box trucks, fuel trucks, military vehicles, etc)

Scott Ward ... Mongo ... Spanky ... Mike B (call me if you want me to come up there and shoot that Task Force LCF of yours -- drag it out of the shop first wink ) ... all y'all (isn't that how you Southerners say "youse guys!"??) I'm talkin' to YOU! The rest of ya's, too!!

Get that camera out and get busy!

Thanks!
John

Need the truck be perfect? I have a very nice, low mile original 47 Deco Cabover. More than happy to submit pics if you'd like....and absolutely understand if not. I will have some for the Gallery soon also. Have to get the intake back on it so I can "pose" him.

Tom -- Perfection is in the eye of the beholder. There's a nice shot ready for the Big Bolt calendar of a truck that's about to go to the scrap man. It doesn't have to be a "nice" truck to be a nice picture.

Just make sure you leave me a little space around the truck in the picture for the margin and the caption box. And as for a nice picture, I'm looking for something a little more "artsy" than just a snap of it in your driveway (unless, like Bill Alderson's '46 cover shot for the Best Of the Bolt calendar, you have a really beautiful driveway ... wink )

Original trucks have a beauty in themselves -- it's called "patina." Besides, everyone on this site loves the Art Deco COE's.

Which gives me yet another calendar idea -- Before and after shots! Maybe next year...

Send 'em!

Thanks,
John

And remember ... "C" is for Cookie!

I dig all cars, old and new, whether they were hammered out of American iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things.
But thats just MY opinion! :P
