So what was it you did with the girlfriend when you got home....

eek grin

Glad you got to see a bit of country and there is more to KC than just I70...but then you would have to come to next rally.

Pleasure having you in the Megopolus of El Reno, Oklahoma, Thursday afternoon. All of us enjoyed seeing the Truck and visiting with you. Glad you had a safe trip. As for your DARE, well, I prefer little short adventures but you never know! I'm looking for a 50-54 Chevy 2 door Hardtop (no posts) to HotRod. If I find one in good enough shape and for the right money I might just take the "Triple Dog Dare" and
Terry B and I will go fetch it. Best to you and your Gal! smile

Great adventure!

It has been fun reading along and looking at the pictures. When I got mine in 1996 it was in Arkansas. After some repairs, I drove it to St. Louis with my wife following. Not quite as adventurious as yours, but I know the feeling of hoping that all stays together until you get to your destination.

Congratulations on a successful trip.

Tiny, Don't tell her I'm an ugly cuss. What she don't know won't hurt her.

Sablesurfer, I kissed her and took her dancing.

Justhorsenaround, I have a 49 convertable and a 52 post. Both IRWIPI's. The right money would be yours.

MikeE, Eat and sleep. I did look at the paper in the automotive section....

Once a Bolter, Always a Bolter.

Glad to hear that you had no problems on the last stretch of highway, and made it to the dance.

Great report, thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for all the effort you took to keep us informed! I am sure there were more people watching your escapades then any other story on any of the forums I have been on. Many of them will not be posting, I wish there was a way to see how many hits you got! Thanks!
